The Netherlands are a very flat country with most if it under sea level. The lowest point is Zuidplaspolder witch is- 7meters. The highest point is Vaalserberg at 322meters. This low flat lands means a lot of flooding in the country with its many rivers and lakes. The Netherlands have a western boarder of the North Sea with a arm of the Atlantic Ocean. Some major inlets at the southern coast are called Westerschelde and Oosterschelde. Some bigger lakes in the Northeast are Lake Fluessen, Lake Sloter, and Sneek Lake.
